  • Vehicle Data: Vehicle make/model, license plate number, and engine diagnostics (via OBD devices).

  • Telematics & Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates, speed, route history, and ignition status.

  • Video Data: If you use our AI Dashcams, we may process video footage and driver behavior alerts (e.g., drowsiness or distraction).

  • Payment Information: Payment details are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree). We do not store your full card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following “Lawful Purposes”:

  • Service Delivery: To provide real-time tracking, fleet reports, and anti-theft alerts.

  • Safety & Compliance: To fulfill government mandates (like AIS 140) and provide emergency SOS services.

  • Maintenance: To notify you about vehicle health or device battery status.

  • Communication: To send order updates, subscription renewal reminders, and technical support responses.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with:

  • Government Portals: For AIS 140 devices, data is shared with government-authorized Vahan/RTO servers as required by law.

  • Service Partners: Specialized cloud hosting (e.g., AWS/Azure) and SMS gateway providers.

  • Legal Requirements: If mandated by a court order or law enforcement agency in India for investigation purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Active Retention: We retain your tracking data for as long as your subscription is active.

  • Deletion Policy: Per DPDP Rules 2025, if your account is inactive for [e.g., 3 years], we will delete your personal data. You will receive a notification 48 hours before such erasure.

  • Logs: System logs are maintained for 1 year for security audit purposes.

5. Your Rights (Data Principal Rights)

As a “Data Principal” under Indian law, you have the right to:

  • Access & Review: Request a summary of the data we hold about you.

  • Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: You can opt-out of tracking or marketing at any time (though this may disable certain service features).

  • Erasure: Request that we delete your data when it is no longer needed for the service.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services are designed for commercial and adult personal use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 years of age without verifiable parental consent. For school bus tracking solutions, data is processed strictly for safety purposes under a contract with the school/parents.

7. Security Safeguards

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS.

  • Access Control: Strict internal policies ensuring only authorized personnel can access sensitive tracking data.

  • Breach Notification: In the event of a data breach, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as per the timelines prescribed by law.
